Mary R. Kornick, LAC
Rewiring the brain through evidence-based care, creative connection, and holistic understanding.
Mary believes that our struggles are rarely one-dimensional; they are a unique blend of genetics, environment, and biology. With a Master’s from New York University and an extensive background in neurobiological models, Mary specializes in the "overlap" of mental health—where OCD, ADHD, Anxiety, and Tic disorders meet. She is a professional member of the International OCD Foundation and utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients build new, positive neural pathways and reclaim control over their lives.
Mary’s approach is deeply holistic and collaborative. Beyond her work with neurodivergence, she is a Certified Dementia Practitioner with years of experience supporting families through the complexities of memory care. She also brings a unique specialty in parent education for families of twins and multiples. Whether she is using music to connect with an adolescent or implementing structured DBT-informed tools for an adult, Mary provides a safe, non-judgmental space to identify strengths and foster creative healing.
