Lauren is a New Jersey Certified School Counselor, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Lauren has over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through the challenges and milestones of growing up in an educational setting. She earned her Master of Education in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland’s CACREP-accredited program. In private practice, she provides solution-focused, patient-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches to help clients manage challenges, build skills, and achieve personal growth. She has extensive experience working with school-related concerns, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

Lauren is dedicated to creating safe and supportive environments where children, teens, and young adults can explore and heal. She is enthusiastic about guiding young clients to overcome obstacles, strengthen their self-esteem, and unlock their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting. She specializes in providing affirming therapy that honors the diverse life experiences of her clients. She takes a collaborative approach, working closely with both adolescents and their families to provide comprehensive care, integrating a range of therapeutic methods tailored to each individual’s needs. With advanced training in grief and loss and certification in Collaborative Problem Solving, Lauren helps clients navigate life transitions, strengthen social skills, and develop lifelong healthy coping strategies.
