Lauren believes that the challenges of growing up require a specialized blend of empathy and practical strategy. With over 20 years of experience as a Certified School Counselor and a Master of Education from Loyola University Maryland, Lauren offers a deep understanding of the academic and social pressures facing today’s youth. She specializes in guiding children, teens, and young adults through school-related concerns, anxiety, and low self-esteem, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where they can unlock their full potential.
Lauren’s approach is active and collaborative. Certified in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), she works closely with both the individual and their family to move beyond conflict and toward shared solutions. Whether a client is navigating a difficult life transition, processing grief and loss, or seeking to strengthen their social skills, Lauren integrates evidence-based CBT with a patient-centered focus to build lifelong healthy coping strategies.
