Bridging the gap between brain science and cultural identity to foster resilience across the lifespan.

Science-Backed Support for Diverse Journeys

Mariam believes that effective therapy must honor both the mind’s biological pathways and the heart’s cultural roots. With a Master’s from Montclair State University and a specialized background in Cognitive Neuroscience, Mariam helps clients understand the "why" behind their anxiety and stress responses. She is deeply committed to providing culturally competent care, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space for the Latino/Hispanic community to navigate familial struggles, relationship dynamics, and identity development.

Mariam’s approach is versatile and integrative. She works with individuals across the lifespan—from children to adults—tailoring evidence-based CBT and Mindfulness to each client's unique needs. Whether you are struggling with Seasonal Affective Disorder, navigating a difficult career transition, or exploring the intersection of spirituality and mental health, Mariam provides the empowered support needed for lasting growth.

Concentrated Trainings:

  • Neuro-Informed Anxiety Care: Leveraging her background in neuroscience to help clients master emotional regulation and stress management.

  • Latino/Hispanic Community Advocacy: Providing fluent, culturally attuned support for individuals and families navigating systemic and familial challenges.

  • Seasonal & Mood Support: Specialized interventions for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and life-transition stress.

  • Faith & Spirituality: A respectful, inclusive space to explore how faith and belief systems impact mental wellness and recovery.
