Nicole Kavanagh is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a CACREP accredited program at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she was a member of the counseling honor society, Chi Sigma Iota. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Postpartum Support International, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Nicole has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families presenting with unmanageable anxiety, symptoms of depressed mood, issues with self esteem and interpersonal relationships. Nicole continues to strengthen her skillset in women’s issues, postpartum, infertility challenges, parenting skills, and body image perception.
Nicole provides an empathic, safe, and supportive environment where she and her client can collaboratively establish therapeutic goals. She utilizes an integrative approach of therapeutic modalities and techniques to meet her client’s individual needs. She believes in being open, exploring tools and techniques throughout the therapeutic relationship to identify which ones work well for each individual client. Nicole strives to give her clients hope and help them learn the skills they need to create the life they want.
