Creating a safe and supportive space for meaningful growth and self-understanding.
A Collaborative Approach to Emotional Wellness
Michelle believes meaningful counseling begins with creating a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and free to be themselves. She places strong emphasis on building genuine rapport and a trusting therapeutic relationship, recognizing that meaningful growth often begins when clients feel secure enough to explore their experiences openly. Michelle approaches therapy as a collaborative process, working alongside clients to better understand their needs, identify meaningful goals, and develop strategies that feel realistic and personally relevant.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic approaches, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed interventions, Michelle helps clients better understand their emotions and recognize how those emotions may show up in both the body and everyday life. Her goal is to help clients develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves while strengthening coping skills, confidence, and emotional awareness. Michelle meets clients wherever they are in their journey, offering a warm and supportive space where they can take meaningful steps toward change at their own pace.
