With a unique academic background in Biology and Chemistry, she views mental health through a holistic lens, helping clients understand the physiological components of stress and anxiety. As a first-generation, biracial individual, Julia also brings a profound personal understanding to the therapeutic space, welcoming clients from all cultural and religious backgrounds to explore how their heritage shapes their identity and lived experiences.
Julia’s clinical style is active and solution-focused, a skill honed during her experience in community mental health hospital settings. She specializes in helping adolescents and adults navigate life transitions, depression, and self-esteem challenges. By integrating Motivational Interviewing with practical mindfulness and breathing techniques, Julia empowers her clients to set clear goals and develop the resilience needed to achieve them.
