Carly is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She provides individual counseling for adults aged 18+ and has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health issues, grief and loss, aging-related challenges, life transitions, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, substance use, and women’s and men’s issues.
Carly believes that building a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most important factors in fostering growth and change. She is committed to meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them through hardship, growth, and healing. Her approach is eclectic and strengths-based, drawing from person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and narrative therapy to support autonomy, acceptance, meaning-making, and overall wellness.
Carly has a personal connection to both mental and chronic physical health issues, which has deepened her empathy and strengthened her dedication to her clients’ well-being. She is especially passionate about serving older adults, a population often overlooked in mental health care, and shaped much of her graduate studies around this work. Carly strives to provide a warm and supportive space for her clients to clarify their goals and move toward becoming the best versions of themselves. When she’s not seeing clients, she enjoys boxing for stress relief or walking her beloved pug.
