Building resilience, confidence, and mental strength — during competition and in daily life.
Balancing Performance and Well-Being
Brad believes that for young high-achievers, mental health is the foundation of peak performance. As a Licensed Associate Counselor and Certified School Counselor with a Master’s from Montclair State University, Brad specializes in the unique pressures facing today’s adolescents and college students. He offers a specialized focus on student-athletes, helping them navigate the intersection of competitive expectations, self-esteem, and the "all-or-nothing" mindset that often leads to burnout.
Brad’s approach is warm, reflective, and highly practical. Drawing from his extensive background in both counseling and coaching, he creates a collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment. By focusing on resilience and self-awareness, Brad helps young adults develop the "mental toolkit" needed to handle academic stress, social transitions, and the intense pressure to perform.
Concentrated Training:
The Student-Athlete Experience: Specialized support for balancing sports performance, injury recovery, and the "athlete identity."
Academic & Social Pressure: Navigating school-related challenges, overwhelm, and the transition from high school to college.
Confidence & Self-Esteem: Building a stable sense of self that isn't dependent solely on external achievements or grades.
Skills-Focused Growth: Developing practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and the "perfectionist" mindset.
