Peggy Hynes, LPC, LCADC, NCC is an interactive and collaborative therapist who works with adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She also supports individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health issues, offering guidance through the complex emotions and patterns that often accompany these experiences.

With a steady and compassionate presence, Peggy honors each client’s unique starting point. She has worked across a range of clinical environments, including outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential settings. Her approach is grounded in a Family Systems framework, with a deep understanding of how early experiences and family dynamics influence current patterns—particularly in areas such as communication, boundaries, and self-worth.

Peggy is committed to creating a relaxed and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful change. She integrates evidence-based practices, including Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems, to tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs.
