Whitney Curry, LAC
Whitney is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairleigh Dickinson University and her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and French at Drew University. She has experience working with families, adolescents and children as young as three years of age in partial care, intensive outpatient, and individual therapy settings.
Through her work with these age groups, she finds it imperative that therapy be more than just a means for emotional expression, exploration, and management. It is also an opportunity to play, have fun, and be oneself while engaging in intensive and meaningful work while receiving support along the way.
Whitney uses a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Techniques to facilitate change with children, adolescents, and families.
