Peggy holds a Master’s Degree in counseling, with a concentration in addiction, from Montclair State University. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).
Peggy has worked in various levels of care with adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in working with individuals with co-occurring and mental health concerns such as, depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. She also educates families on co-dependency, healthy boundaries and communication, to improve relationships.
Peggy is dedicated to developing a genuine and collaborative relationship with each client, while offering empathetic guidance for self-understanding. She provides a safe space to identify barriers to self-fulfillment, learn coping strategies to strengthen resilience and build on inherent strengths that support personal goals. Peggy integrates evidenced-based therapeutic approaches to suit each individual. As a former yoga instructor, Peggy offers mindfulness techniques to support emotional wellness and increase mental clarity.
