Malika Leary is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she was a member of the counseling honor society. Her educational background includes concentrated studies in psychology and criminology and she also holds a National Certified Counselor status. Malika has experience working with adolescents, young adults and families addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm and cognitive delays. Her concentrated focus in gaining experience is with adolescents of divorce and family systems capabilities. Malika believes in walking alongside others as they attain personal growth. She utilizes an integrative approach through a primary person centered view that helps to find the inner voice guiding decision making when striving to accomplish a sense of peace in day to day living.
